Shipping & Handcrafting Info
Every piece from Stock & Boer Leather Co. is made by hand in our Wellington, New Zealand workshop. We don't hold ready-made stock — your order is crafted specifically for you, from the first cut to the final burnish.
The Handcrafting Process
When you place an order, we begin sourcing and preparing your leather. Each piece is cut by hand, saddle stitched with waxed linen thread, edge-finished, and burnished before it leaves the bench. This process takes time — and that's intentional. We won't rush work that's meant to last a lifetime.
You may receive updates from us during the crafting process, and you're always welcome to reach out for a progress check at store@stockandboerleatherco.com.
Production & Dispatch Timeframe
Please allow 3–4 weeks from order confirmation to dispatch. This covers the full handcrafting time plus quality inspection before your piece is packed and sent.
During busy periods or for complex custom orders, lead times may extend slightly. We'll always communicate any delays proactively.

A Note on Patience
We know waiting isn't easy — especially when you're excited about a new piece. But the time between your order and delivery is when the real work happens. Your leather is being cut, stitched, and finished by hand, one stitch at a time. We think that's worth waiting for.
